\nWelcome to Marcy Precious Little 1s Daycare, lovingly known as #MPL1\u2014a boutique, high-quality childcare experience where every scholar is nurtured, celebrated, and prepared for lifelong success.

\nMy journey in education began at the tender age of four, when I would line up my teddy bears, play the role of a teacher, and craft lesson plans in my imagination. This early passion was nurtured by my mother, who instilled in me the belief in the power of education rooted in connection. This personal connection to education is the foundation of Marcy Precious Little 1's Daycare.

\nWith over 15 years of experience in early childhood education and a Master's Degree in General and Special Education (Birth-Grade 2), I founded MPL1 with a bold vision: to create a warm, enriching, family-centered space where scholars thrive through personalized care and academic excellence.

\nBecause MPL1 is located within a thoughtfully designed home with just two classrooms, we offer small class sizes. This allows each scholar to receive the individualized attention they deserve in a calm, cozy, and luxurious setting.

\nThroughout my journey, I've been honored with:

\nThe 2024 UFT Chapter Lead of the Year Award\nA 2024 Citation of Honor for my educational impact\nThe 2023 UFT Outstanding Professional Award\nA 2023 Citation of Honor from the Queens Borough President\nThe Education Advancement Award from Pi Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where I am a proud member\nI was also honored to be elected as the Queens Borough 1st Vice Chair of the UFT Daycare Chapter, where I continue to advocate for accessible, high-quality early education for all scholars and families.

\n\u2705 Completion of Orientation before entering the classroom\n
\n\u2705 15-hour Initial Training, followed by 30 hours of training every two years, covering key early childhood topics\n\n
