Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Location: Jamaica, Queens, NYWe are not hiring for short-term or summer-only roles. We’re looking for reliable, enthusiastic professionals who are ready to commit, grow, and build with us.
🧾 Key Responsibilities
This is a short overview of your daily responsibilities. Full training and support will be provided during onboarding.
- Brightwheel Communication
Send hourly updates, photos, and videos to parents using our daycare app. - Monthly Fire Drills
Assist in monthly fire drills to ensure state compliance and scholar safety. - Lesson Implementation
Teach foundational skills like ABCs, 123s, sensory play, tracing, early writing, and beginner reading—twice daily. - Daily Health Checks & Safety Standards
Perform morning health screenings, sanitize surfaces, support potty training, and follow all safety protocols. - Use of Digital Checklists
Complete and log all required daily cleaning tasks for classrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms using our internal system. - Hands-On Event Setup & Decorating
Participate in set-up and décor for daycare-wide events like Graduation, Prom, Pajama Day, and more. - Meal Prep & Assistance
Help serve and clean up meals during breakfast, lunch, and snack. - Ongoing Training & Certification Compliance
Stay up-to-date with required trainings, including CPR/First Aid and annual professional development (some costs may be staff’s responsibility). - Team Participation
Attend all required staff meetings, evaluations, and conferences when assigned.
